The Rotary Club of Peekskill was chartered 99 years ago and has approximately 85 members from Peekskill and the town of Cortlandt.
Peekskill Rotary President Cathy Johansen said, “Rotarians are people of action. That’s why we enjoy producing this show and are proud that it is recognized as one of the ‘must see’ family events in the area."
We also are thankful for the hundreds of Rotarians who have worked so hard to make this event successful for the past 47 years," Johansen said.
This is the club’s main fundraiser and it aims to raise up to $25,000
Thousands of people attend the event each year
All proceeds go to charity and various scholarships for local high school students and community programs.
Past beneficiaries included Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corp, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, St. Christopher’s Inn Rehabilitation and Peers Influencing Peers.
